Very disappointing to see the limited support for the rights issue from those that are relatively ‘in the know’ compared to the rest of us. While there is nothing incorrect in the statements from the Board leading into the issue, I don’t think they were completely honest either.

A couple of years ago at an AGM I was told by a Redflow employee that the sell price to installers was $10,500. Not sure what it is now but Redflow says the manufacturing cost has dropped 40% after move from Flex to Thailand, and supposedly another 30% with the Gen 3 battery. I assume at least some of those savings will be passed on to customers, especially for large or strategic orders (and they may need to have a bit of a fire sale to clear the stock of Gen 2 batteries).
