Well I dare say Megan Baldwin did not relinquish the CE role of her own volition. I suspect there would have been some external pressure to step aside with the likes of Carlyle looking to do what they see as best to protect their investment. It was indicated when Carlyle first came onboard that given their investment history in biotech they would be involved with providing support and guidance to the company.
