Hot Copper will not let me link this in reply to the post of @@manicdoc No 54126105 - bandwidth and connectivity issues in play.
"BRN has no sales as they have not started sales."
I think I know what you mean and I am sure you did not intend to mislead but for the benefit of newer shareholders noting your long term interest this statement is strictly not correct. They have been licencing their IP since last year.
As I am sure you would know if you reflect on 23 December, 2020 Brainchip via an ASX price sensitive announcement advised that they had sold an AKIDA IP licence to Renesas the number three supplier of semiconductors to the world wide automotive industry. As Bosch is the number six such supplier on this list this is a very significant sale to a huge multinational company.
I am sure as you have knowledge of the industry that you would be just as excited as Microsoft was in announcing that Renesas had agreed to join the Azure program as the rest of Brainchip shareholders were and are with this ground breaking commercial announcement.
Most certainly Brainchip cannot rest on their laurels and in fact it seems obvious they are not as they have gathered together a world class sales team from ARM Holdings and so if anyone is going to be able to get a leg up on an incumbent they have the team to do it.
Listening to Rob Lincourt of DELL Technologies they are going to be ably assisted in their sales effort by the end of Moores Law, the huge power bill involved in cloud processing, the failure of 5G to solve the fast growing bandwidth issues, and connectivity problems inherent in being at the edge, not to mention the fact that any device that has to connect while being so connected is subject to the risk of cyber attack.
It seems to me that you have not properly considered the situation before coming to your conclusions and reservations on this occasion but perhaps you just forgot these favourable points jin the same way as you did the Renesas Intellectual Property sale.
My opinion only DYOR
