Hi Branded
Your owl looks very friendly compared with how I would great the naysayers criticising the acting CEO Peter van der Made for taking some profits out of his company.
That's right his company.
@MadMayHam posted at the beginning of his thread the patents that had been assigned by Peter van der Made when Brainchip was incorporated and I topped it off with the patent he assigned from 2008 earlier today.
Every person here has been slapping themselves on the back metaphorically for being invested in a company named Brainchip that has managed to bring to market three years ahead of the rest the first commercial neuromorphic chip with incremental and one shot learning and virtually zero energy requirements to function certainly at a saving of 97% of what is currently required to perform various computing functions.
All of this has been as a result of the patents developed by Peter van der Made who handed them over to Brainchip on incorporation.
People should just grow up. The amounts might seem like a lot of money to most but Kerry Packer used to loose more at the Casino in one night I remember a famous example where he lost 27 or 28 million and went back the next night and won it all back.
Others have pointed out his shares are worth around $80 million dollars. Pulling out a couple of million to make life a little sweeter is what any normal person would do and in fact I think I would have pulled out a fair bit more if I was him but then I live in Sydney where the property market is insane.
I think it was Dolci who said Peter van der Made sold his unit in Sydney to fund the initial stages of Brainchip well if that was in 2008 to 2015 I can assure you he probably would have made a lot more by keeping the unit than what he has just taken out of Brainchip with this present sale.
Think about what this company would be worth without Peter van der Made and his patents and what your shares in this company would be worth if he decided enough was enough and retired tomorrow leaving the cortical column research incomplete.
I will not say anymore because I will be moderated. But remember in Sunday school we were taught that the thought is as bad as the deed. So don't think you are getting off lightly.
My opinion and thoughts only DYOR and sole searching.
