Maybe. But strategically
1. Peter now holds less than the 10% of shares that he could have used to have final say on any future take over.
2. Peter has not included in the agreement that the shares can't be shorted in the loan phase.
3. I can't see that this helps the search for the new CEO. But perhaps this was never a high priority, more an opportunity should a good person become available.
4. What do we know about LDA? Who have they done similar business with in the past?
