First up, I have no problems with Peter selling some shares. He has put nearly 2 decades of his life in to making Akida a reality and now that he has production chips in hand he deserves to be rewarded. End of story there.
Not easy for BoD or management to sell shares. Blackout periods apply to avoid insider trading (even the hint of it) so their timing is limited and for all we know Peter's window may be about to close for an extended period. If anyone knows when news is coming it's the CEO, no chance Peter would be selling now if anything market sensitive is in the pipeline.
No one likes seeing the top brass selling and I do have concerns over the timing. I won't share any of those thoughts here but I take some comfort that Ken witnessed the agreement for Peter.
