Unfortunately, it's the ASX that permits these types of activities to continue.
Even though the options were "in the money" the ONLY fair action would be for option holders to PAY UP and then sell whatever shares they dont want ON MARKET.
It would appear only "retail" option holders get sucked of their hard earned in the conversion process.
ASX need to protect retail - that's where the majority of funds come from - either directly or through Managed Funds.
Unfortunately, it's the ASX that permits these types of...
