Plus some new investors do far more in-depth research than the old hands.... never stop asking questions,,,I like to email Management prior to investing to get a feel for them and response times etc,,, quality of answer etc, If i'm taking a serious position $50k plus I phone and ask my relevant questions directly , plenty of CEO's will talk to you, you just have to structure your questions so you don't place them in a sticky position, many CEO's become hamstrung and tongue tied not through ineptitude but by disclosure rules,, This one makes every CEO stammer ,"would you put your life savings into this company"?
