Not hard to NOT sell a share when you get them for free. If they did sell, NUH would likely be at 1-2cent range.
Never a good sign when the directors/founders would not financially support their own company. These people are the leader in the company and when they cannot "put their money where their mouth is" its a red flag.
On the options borrowing $300k when on salaries of $300k+ per annum (plus all their travel and accommodation is covered) is NOT a big deal. Especially if you think the company is on the verge of success. Taking on a $300k loan on say $45k interest per annum versus sacrificing potentially leaving $1million at the table.
