MD Jonathan Downes' 2million unlisted Jan. 31 40c options lapsed, out of the money.
the 40c exercise price for these unlisted oppies issued i would guess in 2021 shows the high hopes held for company fortunes not so long ago.
reality intervened.
IF the options were in the money and IF Downes converted them all, KAU cash would have jumped A$800k, by any measure a tidy sum for a junior miner. This wasn't snout and trough stuff.
many companies set senior executive oppies exercise price at ridiculously low levels - snout trough at shareholders expense.
