Welborn exercised his 1.5m options for 40c, taking his overall holding to 4.5m shares or 3.75% of the company. It's a vote of confidence from Welborn I think, a $600k purchase when the options are currently only in the money by 20%. Pearce and Woodman didn't take up theirs, maybe they don't share that confidence or maybe they didn't have the cash lying considering the options are so close to the market price.
I think the size of management's holdings is an important thing to remember in times like this with a falling share price, they will be doing all they can to turn the price around. When you have those questions about 'what is management doing for shareholders,' it's probably a good time to remember they likely have more skin in the game than you do. :)
