OR, we need a major housing crash, or crypto crash to free up liquidity and change investment focus to investing in the ASX again, especially the younger generation who appear to be moving into the crypto area. If they lose a substantial ammount in any crypto crash with a hacking event, or government policy change, crackdown on taxes etc then I am sure they will learn their lesson and move on, and invest in something with a physical backing.

doesn't change the fact that algorithms play a huge factor, brokers getting the upper hand e.g. with single trades, big boys get in first ASX is not a level playing field and retail gets burned sometimes we get lucky but hey how many fails bes success. I don't think a housing crash will do this country any good particularly for the heavy mortgaged home owners if they have to sell they still owe the bank makes it worse.
