It appears the independent non executive directors ex The Chair and Cannington may have been not eligible. Their roles are essentially to be independent , perhaps that excludes them. Without sighting their contract terms , cannot draw any firm conclusion.
Beyond a token amount Cannington hasnt really contributed in prior SPP and rights issues. I wonder what that is about?, a falling out with JM? That would not surprise if true. Very difficult to know.
