That announcement was hardly sneaky given we’ve known since the AGM they were going to receive those shares.
I know this will be an unpopular opinion around here but unless they deliver results, those shares are going to be worthless. Sure we would all love to see the increasing shareholder value, created by clinical trial progression, reflected by way of the SP continually and steadily increase over time, but until IMU starts generating consistent revenue, that is simply not going to happen. Until then, like it or not, we need to accept the SP will fluctuate on the ebbs and flows of results and the will of the market.
Whilst we don’t get any say in the structure of the remuneration, performance options would be my preferred instrument. There are a couple of hundred million performance options that will expire unconverted in the next 6-18 months unless results are delivered. I doubt anyone will be complaining if the SP rises above the $0.45 required to put most of those performance options in the money.
