....except that isn’t what the announcement says at all. It says that they are starting charitable funds and intend to transfer 950,000 shares to those funds whilst maintaining voting rights. Separately, they were selling down 450,000 shares each part of the funds from those sales would be contributed to the charitable funds as a cash contribution. No details on what constitutes ‘part’. In reality the generous contribution is likely the 950,000 shares - but that doesn’t have anything to do with the shares that were sold in the piggy backing of the delta hedge.
