there is an article on ALK in Paydirt which covers NMPP. From what Nic is saying it seems they understand the project will not attract any copper major and chances are it will be a gold producer who wants to add some copper exposure.


this lines up with my original assessment that NMPP will/may attract mid-tier player rather than a giant. Anglo may still be an option though. they are looking to reduce risks from their South African operations. Unless ALK makes another shallow discovery there with higher grade to allow for blending.
