I have always seen that same strategy over the years but I also have queried the logic behind it, if you believe that the target is 10c why not have the conviction to hold until that time? Ok, so I assume you free carried + after your first 33%, will double + your original stake this week, so you have lost 67% of your original shares, how much do you miss out on if they go to your predictive 10c. ?
I know the rationale behind it all and certainly see it as a good thing on quality shares, but penny dreadful ( at the start ) shares cost so little you can afford to go the full Monty, you only need one in ten to explode similar to say AXE or DEG . Anyway, each to their own, just thought I would throw it out there. Good luck today, should be a great start.
