Current sp 36c is 1.2c in the old scale. It's been downramped already. Should sp fall below 30c it would be less than a penny in the old scale - can't have that or else we'd be 'penniless'.
But of course, a lot know the meaning of 'down she goes' or in the case of JAT's sp, 'down she went'. I believe they did try to resurface the Titanic - apparently they managed with a section that weighed about 15 tons.Hope JAT's sp will be raised more successfully.
