    Brian is also the Executive Chairman of another ASX-listed company, Envirogold (EVG) and from what I can gather, he has been extensively financing it over a prolonged period, whilst waiting for Mac Bank to settle on financing terms for their gold recovery project.

    So, I suspect he (or his family entities) just need the cash because he is trying to be supportive elsewhere.

    From memory he has a pile of shares, so this disposal isn't such a big deal.
