I'm not sure exactly how the ENI gas release price is calculated, but it's possible prices will rise if the Euro falls against the dollar. OTOH, if there's some kind of crisis the oil price will most likely plummet, which will reduce the gas price (though with quite some delay, and smoothing).

Since Po Valley's costs and income and debt are all denominated in Euro, exchange rates don't have much effect in themselves. If they ever get as far as paying dividends, then the EUR/AUD rate will start to matter. On that front, I'd expect a full-fledged European crisis to send the AUD down.
