Spot on Invest99,
Timing aside, his reason for disposing a small portion of his overall holding can only be speculated on...it happens all the time. Do we really need to know?
I don't think so. Stay focussed on the end game, watch the WCL story unfold, monitor MEL, MPO and to some extent EPW, all inextricably woven into the LNG future play.
I'll warrant the Chinese have spoken to each at some stage, though the Qld assets are the critical first base.
If you have a look over at Oil Basins Ltd (OBL) LNG weren't even Top 20 listed, doubt they'd have made Top 50. Barely a significant holding imo, not to us anyhow!
Mal, I don't see it as in any way related to progress towards stitching up gas for FL. Rest easy guys, when LNG let slip earlier opportunities, they didn't have the heavy support and guidance they have now...and Gladstone Ports WANTS them up and running. (again, in my opinion)
Your admirable patience has kept you here to this point, hang in!
Rgds all,
Lilac
