Oze is right about the ground being too soft in the area around the Napolean site. Water oozing out of the hill in lots of places for the first time since the winter of 1993.

Have been a lot of heavy frosts lately drawing up plenty of moisture and wet fogs on top. Longer range weather forecast is for below average rainfall over the next few months and beyond so should begin to dry out when the usual westerly winds pick up later this month.

The wheel tracks Slamma is talking about is from light vehicles traversing around the paddocks doing surface sampling. Was interesting to note that they were collecting samples from a road cutting along the Nerriga Rd around the 5km mark from Braidwood a week or so ago.

The rig is most likely out at Dargues somewhere. They brought in a truck load of hay bails recently to use as sound barriers so it must be doing something.
