I'm sure these theories are good ones, and they echo what I suspected, but it doesn't make a recent investor like me feel any better. I sat and watched my recent gains disappear in a matter of minutes, so late in the day that it wasn't expected at all. Now I'm left wondering where it'll get to Monday...
To top it off I'm also a holder of NST. In their case, two directors sold off 40 million odd shares at 9 am this morning, well before market open, at a price about 13% below yesterday's close, so the stock naturally dropped to about that level and stayed there.
Who'd want to be an ordinary shareholder when things like this happen? It leaves you bewildered, feeling cheated with no chance of reacting.
