RStuff,i'm new to CDA but have followed SP and i agree with your post.
The way i see it we have just been through a mining boom period but most companies have nothing to show for it.
CDA appears to have picked up daniels (27m US)with their boom profits even after CR's and for me the acquisition seems to make sense eg HF now MRL (VHF) and as you say opens up synergies combined with a larger more diversified product range and instant US etc market share.
So it will be interesting to see how company reports on new acquisition and its ability for the communications division to counter the decline in the detector division
