I'm no psychologist.. but when some random on an investment forum says it's all dooom and gloom i'm pretty sure there is an ulterior motive hidden there.. especially when a stock is running this hot with the amount of volume that has been moved in the past month. In other words when they come out in their droves with things like "This MD just did. He made $50k on options he paid nothing for." Only to reinvest practically 70% of that straight back into the company!!
What about the remainder you might ask? Well I do beg you to read on.. I'm not sure if anyone here has mentioned this but if you actually read the announcement regarding the General Meeting (section 3.11 for those who can't be bothered finding it) coming up and take a look at Mr Warburton's salary per year from Red Mountain Mining.
And below I quote
"Remuneration of the Directors
The total remuneration arrangements current for each of the Directors as at the date of this
Notice are set out below"
Neil Warburton $72,000
And also!
Notes:
1. The Directors agreed in June 2013 to reduce their cash remuneration by
20%, as reflected in the table above.
So basically........... this guy earns $72,000 + a handful of RMXO's and RMXOA's. I have no idea what people earn on this forum and nor do I want to know but I'm fairly confident in saying a good number would be earning much more than that per year or making perhaps half of his salary in some decent wins fair to say? So not only does this guy reinvest his options he took a 20% pay cut last year to ensure this company can stay afloat. Some people here are raging about him converting some options, imagine the red in those same peoples eyes if they had to take a 20% pay cut last year. Hrmmm... yep.
To summarise (sorry about this longish post but I felt it was necessary to try and lay this out on the table)
- He only earns $72k p/year + some oppies
- Makes a bit of margin so maybe his hard work will let him take his family on a holiday or whatever he decides to do with what is rightfully his gain
- He took a 20% pay cut last year
- He hasn't sold out, quite the opposite.. reinvested in the company.
For me personally it's generally a good sign when things like this happen because I feel something is brewing. If ya smell what i'm cookin.. ha! ha! I make joke!
Good night people.
