It's quite a reasonable transaction, it stays in the family, and most importantly NEU have taken the trouble to provide an explanatory note - something few other companies do, leaving people to start rumours, conjectures, etc.
Of course by providing this info, people start to critiscism the transaction and suggest how it could have better been done. Trust the participants' judgment and move on.
