    You actually have two free options as well , one is sell up and never invest again or two grizzle to someone who cares or can do something about it. I'm not sure who that would be but it isn't HC...

    Like them or not incentive options are part of the investing scene , its estimated around 90% expire worthless and the rest are exercised.
    The lesson from that is if incentive options are exersized the Company is performing
    and that benefits everyone , if they expire worthless then its not and nobody benefits...management will receive a salary regardless and once again if you don't like it then the above applies...

    Many highly skilled Managers could get bigger money changing Companies so
    incentive options are one way of keeping them.

    One can argue untill your blue in the face about the merits of incentive options but a really good and incentivised Managment team can make everyone better off but there
    is no guarantee that will happen...its why investing is risky.

    The world is not a level playing field people have gifts in a particular field that we don't have....most would discover that very quickly if we tried to run an Oil and Gas Company...
