The directors paid circa $2.44 to 2.45 for the shares, which unless it was just a symbolic act, suggests that they thought the shares were not over-valued at that price.

If you look at the 5 day price chart, you can see a flat spot where, presumably, their buying held the price nearly constant between 10 and 11 AM on Tuesday. If they had waited they could have bought cheaper - don't I know the feeling.
