Two Directors buying is certainly a positive, but what would be a lot more positive would be the company clarifying exactly why David Stewart retired suddenly just after the AGM. Just a simple statement saying - pursuing personal interests or health or family reasons would do. I can't believe that the company would not know that an unexplained sudden retirement would spook the market. The market always hates uncertainty.
The facts are, the company made an NBN contract announcement at the AGM, the share price shot up from around $2.20 to around $2.74, then the CEO announces an unexplained retirement, the share price tanks to around $2.40, two directors buy shares. What is one supposed to make of it?
