This excerpt struck with me:

'They do not even commit to MOU's easily these days. I often hear people say MOU;s are worth nothing in China. If they are with a reputable company that is certainly not the case. They won't sign just for the heck of it because they know it may hamper a deal elsewhere as they are seen to be already in bed with someone.'

We have two world class MOU's with multi billion dollar companies. These aren't a piece of paper and easy to come by. Yet our current management have thrown it to the wind, likely tarnishing our reputation severely. Vote YES to the change. ML was the man with the ability and connections to get us these MOU's. We need him on board to be able to repair our reputation and get us back on track.
