    If you buy when they buy & sell when they sell, you will finish up buying at the top & selling at the bottom.
    In my opinion that is not good trading.

    The only way to give yourself a chance of maximising profit is to do the reverse. Buy when things look terrible & sell when things look too good to be true.

    The use of charting knowledge helps in identifying possible turning points.
