Yeah my mistake. She was actually given 10 million at no cost so 450 thousand dollars. I assume some conditions mean she has only converted 3 million now rest later.
Personally i would rather directors werent given deals like this. If they want shares they should be bought on market. Seems to be this is the fundamental problem with the share market when companies can just produce shares out of thin air and give them to directors. I reckon shares should only ever be issued to raise cash, and while im at it they should not be allowed to be issued to fund a take over. If a company doesnt have enough spare cash to reduce competition and take out a competitor directly then dont do it by issuing shares.
