I thought the 1.72m was from within 2 point something meters? And so now the other dimension is 0.5 rather than 2m? what about all the other veins? and the other shafts? FGR's modelling had each shaft, which supports multiple veins, as yielding 250tpa. FGR had a goal of reaching 5000tpa by sinking 20 shafts.

Lets say the crack that a vein occupies has an oblong cross section as per previous model, what are the chances that a drill will intercept perpendicular to the narrow side and thus extend the length of the long side? what chance that a drill will intercept perpendicular to the long side and thus only extend the length of the short side? It can also intercept at other angles, now you could go through a series of probability determinations here and all of a sudden my cylinder theory for modelling based off an intercept is holding water, notwithstanding the possible fact that no vein has ever assumed the shape of a cylinder ever. I guess the driller may have had some knowledge of the geology and the vein and thus targeted it in a certain way, but again I simply cannot comment on that with limited knowledge.
