Good on you for thinking about your kids first, my parents ( always tought about me greatly)were first generation immigrants, didn't have much skills and toiled away in low paying jobs and odd hours, if family services ever visited at 8 pm ( my sleeping time when I was 9, I was home alone from 7pm - 1am until 11) they will find no adult.
Kudos to anyone putting family first!
