If you are thinking of selling because of this ann, consider this first:
Would you sell 2m of your shares if it meant your other 14m shares became de-valued?
The amount of profit you took off the table would result in an even greater loss to your overall remaining holding. Doesn't make sense does it?
Patrick Flint is a smart man. He knows that his 14m shares are still gonna be worth a lot in the long run.
He may have needed the money for an emergency or to pay for something important urgently. Keep in mind directors only have a small window of time to buy/sell shares which also explains why he missed the run from around 25c to 35c.
