thanks @Geobrand2 - how does 'big oil' profit/survive from this Siemens JV pilot plant ? Answer, it doesn't.
Big oil has massive amounts of gas that has cost them massive amounts of money to discover & develop.
They are going to need a way to turn this into 'green' energy - enter HZR.
HZR preliminary modelling figures show it is the most economic way of turning gas into H2 + C.
How do the figures stack up against Siemens & partners process which is being driven by electricity ? We don't know as they haven't given any numbers.
It will come down to the cheapest & cleanest process & one way or another big oil will be involved.
Just have to hope we get patents sewn up & then it is game on.
