As I have previously pointed out, the Cooroorah scoping study will need to be a drift access mine with the associated upfront capex requirements. The question of new or a deal with Coronado Coal for use of existing Curragh CHPP and train loadout will also need to be answered (along with the associated either higher capex or opex) in the study.
Take a look at and consider the thin margins on SMR's Isaac Plains UG Bord & Pillar project (JORC Reserve statement 28th May) that accesses from an EXISTING open cut highwall >>> straight into the target seam <<<< and utilises the EXISTING infrastructure, CHPP and rail loadout.
I would not be holding my breathe for good news on this one.
