That's what makes no sense to me mistie. Each individual director is supposed to have a responsibility to shareholders. Obviously directors are human they can make mistakes and they cannot do better than their best.
But Klaus apparently didn't think enough of his responsibility to AVZ shareholders to even explain his actions at the same time as he was making it known to the market. And he had to have known the likely market reaction because he has sold shares in AVZ before, though that was when the price was trending upward, what happens when he as a director sells.
How can a scenario be constructed, consistent with facts, that sees Klaus emerge looking both competent (with respect to shareholders interests) and like someone that is not trying to manipulate the market price downwards?
