    This is true. The Australian goldies are little more protected as the A$ gold price is holding up OK (thanks to the A$ going down the toilet), but things look pretty bleak for gold right now. I think we are seeing a flip in the sentiment towards gold not a hedge against bad times, but a positive investment driven by confidence.
