Bought on market. Even if he knew about future project successes, being a director and having these insights is one of the bonuses of being a director. Unfortunately ASIC or any other governing body would be hard pressed to indite him. Either way, it's small change to him. It's probably super he's already being paid and asked the accounts to buy shares against his fund instead of paying it into a super account where you have no control of how its 'wasted'
