If he has the right up to Dec 18, then technically it doesnt make a difference when he converts as he gets 5m shares at whatever price it is at point of conversion. In other words, he doesnt need to convert at an opportune time to take advantage of pricing. If anything, is he converting as he is preparing to sell into an ANN? Im just speculating at this stage, but if i were him id only convert so early if i was planning on realising a benefit that i wouldnt if i didnt convert. Aimho.
