The price of oil had a massive drop. It fell about $US4 in about 6 hours, and that's during a longer term very consistent downtrend. What do you expect? I am pretty sure the bottom will be above $50 and will then quickly (by mid 2019) be at new multiyear highs, but for now some pain is to be expected.
