They are investing their own hard earned money now as well as their time & expertise!
They must be confident about the execution.
I think I read somewhere that Pizza hut has close to 10 000 stores outside of the US and nearly the same in the US. If the roll-out in the Middle East has gone well like it seems, hopefully they can get on to the other regions (starting with Latin America based on what they said at the AGM).
Also, in the US they are trying to transition to a delivery based business model rather than a dine-in restaurant and they have set out a fair bit of money for Tech investment...if GSW software does lead to visible benefits in the smaller markets, ya never know !
