Whilst it is very rarely a bad thing, it should not be construed as a special endorsement or indicator of future value.

Countplus has a big job ahead, one that they acknowledge and one for which they have a clear plan, that will take time and a little luck to execute.

Can adverse market movements interfere with the plan and/or its success? Absolutely. Many clients will run from advisers in any market downturn, just when they need advice the most. Such is the uncertainty ahead in the integration of Count Financial.

By the same token, if the newly acquired clients can see value in the CP service, this transaction can be transformational and catapult revenue and earnings over the next 3 years.

As a considerable stakeholder, I very much welcome the (not so modest) additional skin in the game from Matthew Rowe. It is the sign of confidence that will not go unnoticed, especially by institutional investors.

As a very long time holder (since the float), I look forward to the periodic release of progress being made on the integration process, warts and all. I expect the challenge will test staff, management and shareholders alike. Let's be confident it ends well.

Today's buying in the high 80's should bring a smile to all.

$200,000 worth of shares is a serious commitment...

I rarely buy into excuses/reasons why directors sell shares but buying shares worth that much, in my opinion, it is a sign of faith and commitment.
