It all comes down to whether you're a glass half full or a glass half empty sort of person. On an optimistic note you could argue that the final negotiations were as good, if not better, than the original deal as it removed uncertainties and my reading is it's an unconditional deal. My feeling is that the downward drift of the sp is due more to lack of buyers rather than aggressive sellers. Simply, there is no catalyst to fire up any strong interest. I agree that the February 2020 update will be critical and should that be positive and the sale and dividend go through as planned then we should see a very significant price correction. In the the meantime one broker's report refers to OVH being a 'sitting duck' for a takeover and should that occur, then that would change everything. Right now I would rather be on board than sitting on the sidelines.
