3. punters bid price up to ridiculous levels
4. Hedge fund shorts stock at ridiculous level
5. Hedge fund approaches CEO and says I would like to cover my short at 1.35 and CEO and hedge fund get to make lots of money
6. Punter left holding can.
Repeat with another company.
