Better than nothing but considering the bloke had basically none before, and that this was a small purchase after the stock has halved in a huge bull market for gold stocks, it's actually a drop in the ocean. What about the other directors? If they don't have the cojones to buy now at these levels, there's no way I'm wasting more of my hard earned $$$ on this dog!
