Yes he took up the opportunity to exercise 540k of options at 26c so they now become full shares. Does it impact the price? Well not the same way as buying on market at the market price. However, it does mean he is now more invested in the company. You will probably have noticed a lot of director activity taking place throughout the whole market. Some to accumulate at suppressed prices, some in an attempt to stabilise a share price (silly stuff at this time point) and some probably because now is as good a time to as any if you have the money to exercise options and you don’t believe the share will drop below the exercise price.
