well, No 1, they would have over $10m cash in the bank, even raised money on market, even self-love, they have the ability and luxury.
No 2, the buy started before they commenced AGM and announced buy-back, so, it is not a self-love, just to correct you.
No 3, the buy-back would not allow for buying at 10% jump, so again, it is not a self-love
Finally, if annualized net profit is above $5, their EV is trading at 5xPE, just a fully franked dividend will give an 8% return.
As a reference, in 2018, when they announced 1HFY18 with $2.8 EBIT, the share price jumped to 75c from memory, $3.7m is another 32% from that.
