WOW ! Karl really did lose investor confidence with the ARQ debacle. I have been in The past very critical of Karl’s “stab in the dark” or punt ? with ARQ and the significant loss to the portfolio (and to himself financially and his credibility). But during the CONVID crisis, I looked at the change in the portfolio and not only topped up myself (which I thought I would never do again, so bruised was my confidence), but also recommended and bought some for my wife. But the discount at the moment is ridiculous...... 30% ???? taking the lower of the NTA (which I always do) and taking Into consideration the quality of the portfolio) it just seems as though CDM is waiting to be discovered, and putting aside any black swan event (which will probably affect almost all equities), there’s probably another 15% upside, and that’s still leaving a 15% discount to today’s NTA ! Others thoughts ?
